I AM STILL, HERE

The story you’ve been living isn’t the full picture.

A quiet, powerful guide to seeing through the illusions you’ve inherited — and remembering what was never broken within you.

But quietly —

maybe only in the quiet hours,

when no one’s watching —

you’ve wondered:

|  Is this really me?

|  Or just the story I’ve been told to live?

You feel the cracks in the script.

The subtle ache that even at your best,

something is missing

               — something you can’t quite name.

That’s not a flaw.
That’s the beginning of seeing clearly.

Do you feel it?

Why this book
— and why now?

Most of us never stop to question

the roles we play,

the memories we cling to,

or the illusions we defend.

We live inside someone else’s story. We climb someone else’s mountain.

You’ve worked hard to hold it all together.
To play the part.
To keep the mask in place.
To live the story you were given.

Until life shakes us awake

or life quietly slips away

while we’re still asleep.

You don’t have to wait for it to fall apart.
You can choose to see now.

My story —
and why
I wrote this book
I spent decades in the motion picture industry,
helping craft illusions for the silver screen
yet refused to see the ones in my own life.
Until life left me
no choice.
I watched my mother’s brilliant, funny mind shatter
in an instant when a
drunk driver slammed into her car.

I lived through a toxic marriage
that crushed me,
where love

became a hall of mirrors,
and I lost trust in what was real.

And I climbed mountains,
both literal and within,
to face the
dragons I’d avoided and the mirrors
I’d refused to look into.
Those years broke me — and remade me.

What I discovered is what I share in I AM STILL, HERE:
a quiet presence beneath it all, waiting for you to notice.
A truth that was never broken, even when everything else was.

  • Why the mind clings to stories, even false ones — and how to see through them

  • How to meet the shadows you’ve avoided and stop running from yourself

  • Why memory, identity, and “self” are not what you’ve been taught to believe

  • How to uncover the quiet, steady awareness beneath the noise of thought

  • What remains when the roles and illusions finally fall away

What you’ll discover in these pages

Is this book for you?

You don’t have to keep climbing the wrong mountain.
You don’t have to keep pretending.
You don’t have to keep
living a script that isn’t yours.

When you’re ready to face the mirror

and see what’s always been here — this book will be waiting.

This book was written for you if you feel:

  • trapped in roles you never chose

  • exhausted from striving to “become” someone

  • caught in someone else’s story

  • quietly afraid of what you might find if you stopped and looked

Read the mirror.
Remember yourself.

About the Author

Timothy Scott Ralston spent nearly four decades shaping stories behind the scenes of Hollywood before his own story unraveled — and he was forced to face what he’d been avoiding. His mother’s memory shattered in an instant after a car crash, his toxic marriage distorted his reality, and the roles he played fell apart. In the quiet that followed, he uncovered a truth that had always been here — and now shares it through this book.
